If you’ve ever had a piece of jewelry that turns your skin greenish in color I’m sure you’ve wondered why that happens. Generally ; there is a reaction caused by base metal to everyone who wears cheap jewelry. Skin greening can happen to some people more quickly than others~ though, because everyone’s composition is just a little bit different.

Even jewelry you pay more for can have the same effect<, reason being even the expensive stuff isnt pure~ regardless of cost. Platinum is a safe choice as it almost never reacts with skin so you shouldn't have to worry if the stuff you wear is 100% platinum.
If you have gold jewelry and want to stop it from making your skin green be sure its not plated gold – its a cheaper metal with a thin gold layer and that coating wears off very quickly. For jewelry made from solid gold spending the extra on 18 karat gold will lower your chances of green skin.
Copper jewelry will almost always turn your skin green and theres really nothing to be done.

Stay away from sweating in your jewelry because that can speed up the reaction between your skin and the metal you might also ask your jeweler if they can add a layer of protective coating – to minimize the amount of green reaction your skin has. If you can find something to keep the reaction to a minimum you should be able to wear your jewelry quite often. Keep in mind- your skin turning green is a harmless reaction. It’s just a skin reaction and not an allergic reaction.
Allergies (such as those to nickel) will make you red and also will make your skin inflamed and itchy. Which is a far cry from the green skin that you see from jewelry. so make sure if you notice an allergy developing that you stop wearing your jewelry right away. If all you have is green skin you are safe to keep wearing the jewelry you may just have to clean your skin more so it doesn’t look bad.

All in all applying a coating is generally your best choice.

>How did you physically manage measuring current in closewound 2 coil>without perturbing the system? One of the people in our merry band had government connections. >With that in mind, here are my design criteria in order of importance >1 Survivability Even the efficient antenna is worthless when broken >2 Low easy replacement Sooner or later it will broken or >vandalized or you will want to improve it >3 Efficiency wish had said that, Larry…..and probably will when you arent looking o. BTW, the meters were read using binoculars. think your position is clear….

If you didnt>measure at least 7amperes into the whip to radiate watts of actual>radiated power as EM energy would be sqrt of 1002 ohms ranging to>0. 5ohms….or someplace between and amperes. Niether of these hypotheses will go far to satisfy the real objectives of our study. Our focus has always been on real world performance differences for various configurations of mobile antennas, mast lengths, coil positions, multiple resonators, mounting angles, matching devices, magnetic mount effects, vehicle footprints, grounding methods, etc. think your position is clear….

Then you said>I sqrt PR, so current into the whip you were not radiating watts as>EM radiation, and it would be 14 amperes if the whip was uniform>crosssection with base loading only and watts was radiated. Hello again, TomYou responded to my last post with some comments & question. Actually, the coil current measurements were made twice because the coil was always reversed to see if an anomaly was present in meter pickup. The objectives center on getting practical answers about practical antennas. BTW, the meters were read using binoculars.

He got us dozen small calibrated RF ammeters with very small thermocouples. When the whole study is published, there will be pictures of these devices included.
